Bank & Third is a sketch of a section of the building stationed at the titular intersection in Ottawa, Canada.
I was waiting for the bus home (which, it being an Ottawa bus, was more of a game of waiting for the first one to actually show up), when I looked across the street and a beautiful tableau played out before me: an old ornate brick building framed by the soft and slowly-falling snow.
I took a picture of the scene, since it felt so peaceful and moved me so much that I needed to draw it. And now-- postcards!

I used to work in the Glebe during university and this is a beautiful reminder of that chapter of my life. I bought one for myself to hang as a part of a gallery wall and sending the other to a friend!
Such a nice little piece of the glebe to display or share!
I really love this postcard, featuring local architecture. I can’t wait to mail this to my out-of-town friends. I would like to be able to purchase this print on a more expensive card stock! 🙂
